Let me ask you.... Would you sell out your conservative principles for cheap political gain?
I’m afraid the problem is she actually believes McCain is a conservative, which he is not. And if she actually believes he is, then she’s just giving conservatism lip-service, just like he does. Just saying the things she thinks us tea party people want to hear.
I’m sick and tired of this and I want someone who will actually do the job when they get there. Not someone who quits and walks away because some stinking liberals turn the heat up on them.
Anyway, the Palin folks have their minds all made up and I just don’t yet. And therefore I get attacked and called all kinds of crap just because I dare to bring out a few questions.
Some people on this site are really making me sick today.

The Tina Fey thing was priceless - the crown jewel on a steaming pile of militant ignorance.
I heard it too. His only example was a skit from Saturday Night Live. Colossal ignorance and epic fail. It was painful to listen to. There has to be some type of slow virus that deteriorates the brains of liberals.

Do you have a link or is this just your unsubstantiated opinion?

Let's look at it another way. Who did you vote for, McCain, Obama, 3rd party, or nobody? If you voted for McCain, you supported somebody awful because he was still better than the alternative. If you voted for Obama, you helped push America toward destruction. If you voted 3rd party or nobody, you are just tilting at windmills.
Very well said, however I think those that did not vote were actually votes for Obama.

Sheesh! I've spelled it out here haven't I? I've been a member of FReerepublilc through 4 presidential campaign seasons now, right here posting. This will be the 5th one.
This Palin stuff reminds me of the old Buchannon brigade and the Ron Paul weirdos who would attack anyone that didn't support their guys. They never had much good things to say about their guys but sure were ready to attack anyone who wasn't totally in the tank with them.
Now here we go again, anyone who isn't in the tank with Palin isn't even a conservative but wants to turn everything over to the left.
HOW UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!
It's embarassing to think so called conservatives on a debating forum have no clue as to how to have a civil debate.

BFD how long you have been here. You have stated nothing of fact. Everything you scream about is based on some emotional issue you are having. How about stating facts rather than emotional vomit.

Whos your candidate?Well, if you can find someone with the foreign policy knowledge and experience of a John Bolton, the economical acumen of a Paul Ryan and the political savvy and balls of steel of a Ronald Reagan you'd pretty much have my candidate all wrapped up.

I think we'd all love to have that candidate, but he/she doesn't exist except in some fairy tale, or if we're lucky we'll find out after they are president for a while.
If Palin runs, she'll have to convince the GOP voters she should be their nominee, if she can't do that, she won't be. It's simple.
If you find someone better than her, then vote for them. If you don't, then vote for her.
*Shrugs*

Ah.
So, yet another Palin-basher who offers Mr. Nobody as an alternative.
I’m not in the Church of Palin, but it is amazing how often her detractors have no one to offer.

I agree with everything you just posted.
Palin is not my candidate yet. But hey, I couldn't stand friggin’ John McCain either but I ended up voting for that idiot.
Heck, I voted for Bob Dole too even though I thought he was unelectable.
It just blows me away how so many people here go ad-hominem just because someone doesn't support their candidate. As I said earlier, I've seen all this before here.
All the sudden I'm some kind of leftist troll just because I don't see the magic ultra conservatism and brilliance of Sarah Palin?
Unbeleivable.

So, yet another Palin-basher who offers Mr. Nobody as an alternative.I haven't bashed Mrs. Palin one bit, just pointed out some inconsistencies from my perspective. If you can't handle that, well sorry.
Speaking of bashing, it seems everyone wants to get in their nifty little one line insults like yours.

Not being for Sarah Palin is not the end of the world, but I noticed you did say some things that were pretty negative about her that simply don't ring true.
Maybe that's what brought the reaction.
If she runs, I think she could use a good voice coach, if she runs she will need to come out with some convincing policy position papers and prove her acumen in the (R) debates.
I'm betting I don't get hammered for saying those things here.

Hmmmm...interesting how you equate me delivering some mild criticism of your position to be unable to "handle" the fact that you have a mind of your own. Sensitive much?

Where was the insult?
