I stolen that from someone smarter than me.
Now I'll log off to listen to the Travelling Wilburys.
“Do ya wanna see me crawl across the floor...?”
Well Chapman could have been a hero..... Forget I said that.
I sort of doubt if they are friends it would be hard to stay friends with a man who fathered not one but two kids while he was married to you! Both is daughter Ruby and son Conner were born while he was married to Patti.

Best Stones song I bet no one here ever heard of:
“Stop Breaking Down” (Exile on Main Street)
Listen to it cranked for best effect.
.

.
Also, the end of Hey Jude is not “tedious’ It is 5 minutes of The Beatles COOKING!
Also listen to that cranked. And Hey Bulldog. And Oh Darling. And “while My guitar Gently Weeps”
Nope, not the same person.
As a young teen at the time, the only song of Derek and the Dominos I listened to at the time was “Cinnamon”.
I haven’t heard it in years.
Hmmm. I just looked it up, but it says it’s by Tommy Roe.
I’m usually not wrong on these things, but I am -ahem- much older than I used to be.
Agreed - although Hendrix's original is still pretty incredible. It is a marvel of re-imagined blues guitar conventions using not only an unusual technique but very subtle chords as well. The same goes, I think for Voodoo Chile. SRV's version sometimes sounds more like Hendrix than Hendrix. In any event, both died far too young. As did Frank Zappa, for that matter. ;-)
Get on Youtube and find The Corrs' version of Little Wing.
"So damned beautiful" goes for this one as well-- beautiful, talented Irish ladies making beautiful music! It is not to be missed.
I have seen it - very nice indeed, and the girls are not hard to look at, either. ;-)
(love your screen name LOL - FZ)
J Cale and Clapton released a joint album a year or two ago. It’s OK, but the sound is a little too highly produced for my taste.
The stellar piano playing at the end of the song also makes it outstanding.
Great stuff. I still have the vinyl versions of those albums that I "borrowed" from my sister and forgot to return. I'll have to look but I think I also have a Yardbirds album and that Blind Faith album with the great guitar work on Had to Cry Today.
I'm glad she doesn't miss them.

Ok, kind of a dealbreaker. I’ll give you that.

Oh please. There are more than a few freepers who know their stones pretty darn well. For myself, I was in the record store the day they released the expanded version of Exile, and a week does not go by that I don’t give it a partial listen.
And stop breaking down is a cover of a Robert Johnson song.
You must be referring to The Road to Escondido. I've heard a couple tracks from it; it was okay but it didn't really knock my socks off.
