sorry for the double post
Go to the four corners and pee in Utah,Colorado,New Mexico, and Arizona in one draining.

You make me want to visit Vancouver now. May be worth the customs line.
“
I hope I’m not over-selling Vancouver BC.
But I was there during two conferences in Mid-August in two years.
I was suprised that there wasn’t a single bit of precipitation...
YOUR RESULTS MAY VARY.
The view from that ship-like platform that overlooks the bay and
that major bridge (Lions? Lions Gate?) is just stunning.
PLUS there are single engine prop airplanes with pontoons sitting in the
bay waiting to take you to Victoria island (for a substantial fee
I would suspect!).
And you can make a day-trip to the mountain resort of Whistler as well.
(D-mn, I’m telling about all the things I didn’t have time and money to do!!!)
But there is plenty else to see around Vancouver proper including their
aquarium. But I’d be careful around (IIRC) “Gastown” which is a sort
of dopers quarter where dope is freely sold and consumed in a number of shops
(well at least in the late 1990s and early 2000s.)
Still it’s an awesomely beautiful place.
Even the street beggers were polite and would request contributions
with a “Sir, could you spare some change?”
I was so charmed by their civility that I parted with a dollar or two
on each encounter.
While I say the USA did a major screw-up by not seizing Vancouver,
I fear that that if we had taken it...it would just be a twin of Seattle.
(even though that is a fairly decent place).
PS: My naive understanding is that Vancouver was the filming site
for much of “The X-Files”. On one of my Vancouver visits, I was in a
resturant and the lights went our for one-or-two minutes. The locals started to say “Paging Mulder and Scully!” as though they
could restore utilities. I had to restrain myself from laughing out loud.

“
The first five seasons of The X-Files were filmed and produced in
Vancouver, British Columbia,...
“
What do you call that?
Drive the entire length of the Pan-American highway. Won’t happen, but it sounds like fun.
Play Augusta National golf course (site of The Masters).
:-) I’ll have to borrow a cup from the medical lab.
:-D
