Theft and plagiarism.
Why?
You’re welcome!
OH MY GOSH. That is horrible. Horrible.
Thanks for posting that. It helps to understand the crowd dynamics.
Just to be clear as to what you are saying, you would only permit the person who took the movie or photo to post it? This is so restrictive as to eliminate all blogging, political comment or journalism. Absurd
No.
List the video owner as the author.
If you shot a video and posted it on Youtube and some blogger posts it
on a blog, have you somehow stopped being the person who shot the video?
NOT absurd.
The blogger who ripped it off is not the author of it.
Simple.
In the blog I read, the video is sourced as “Russia Today” and says it was posted on YouTube. The blogger in no way claimed he had taken it but rather commented on it. Seems legit to me. I personally have not seen on any source I have read the name of the individual who actually took the movie.
Right after the date, up at the top of the thread. That's the "author" field.

It's a lie, it's theft, it's plagiarism.
It's blogpimping.
Thank-you for taking the time to explain to humblegunner why there is a section for bloggers and personals.
Have a wonderful evening!
....Or those who have TO MUCH TIME on their hands.
