One can be born to an immigrant (who has completed naturalization) and still qualify under Article II.
Obama (based on the current legal version) is not the son of any immigrant. He is the son of a foreign national who NEVER immigrated, intended to immigrate, was a permanent resident or had any connection with the United States other than being an interloper.
Lets give Mr. Arthur his due. He kept the fact that his father had not completed the immigration process until after he was born a secret...until 2009.
Even the vaunted Wong Kim Ark was declared a citizen (though not a natural born Citizen) because his parents were PERMANENT RESIDENTS.
