The Bears fans showed so much class when they were yelling and screamning during the national anthem..all but drowning out the guy singing. What patriots! /sarc

My girlfriend and I were sitting there in amazement. Never seen something like that before.

Why does color have anything to do with anything? If Urlacher shtupped a whore and had a baby out of marriage, that's enough to be ashamed of. Making his amoral behavior an issue of race is what fuels the bad machines in this world.

Face it. In another hundred years, racial lines in marriage and family makeup will be unimportant. Nor should they be.

None of the winning teams played in a very BIPARTISAN way. They should be ashamed. After all, we KNOW that excellence/winning are not important. Only getting along and making sure everyone feels GOOD about themselves. Personally, I think they should do away with scoring. Just play for the FUN of it and declare both teams to be winners. Perhaps penalize anyone who actually TRIES to do well!!

Jerry Jones’ ultimate nightmare, to have his Super Bowl here in Dallas, with the Packers vs the Steelers.

It appears according to the Rush Limbaugh Environmentalist Whacko picks, the Bears should win the Super Bowl:

Who are the Jets - the foul up the atmosphere, with fossil fuel emissions.

Who are the Steelers - They work in factories which emit carbon gasses which cause Global Warming

Who are the Packers - They packed meat in sweatshops, meat that came from killing defenseless animals.

That of course leaves, The Bears, which are peaceful creatures whose habitat is threatened by Global Warming.

How can I root for either the Jets or the Steelers?

You must be one of those haters creating this climate of violence. ;~))

WOW. I hadn't thought about that one. That is too delicious to miss. OK -- Steelers Packers is it.

(Well I was rooting for my Steelers to get #7 anyway, but this only gives me something more to root for.)

As a lifelong Steelers fan, I'd be quite happy if the Burghermeisters come back home from JJs fancy new stadium with Lombardi #7 in hand, but someone needs to fill me in on the Jerry Jones/Packers thing. What's up there?

I'd actually prefer to see Steelers vs. Bears in the Big Game. I actually sorta like the Packers, love how the fans own the team, and think Aaron Rodgers is a really good QB.

Kudos to the Jets for knocking off the hated Patriots. That game was awesome to watch.

Not so much Jones himself, but the Cowboys as a franchise. It dates back to the 60s with the famous 'Ice Bowl' playoff game where the Pac beat the Cowboys at the gun and went on to win their 2nd Superbowl. Even though they are in different divisions, they have had a great rivalry since then. Sort of like the Steelers had with Oakland back in the day.

Kudos to the Jets for knocking off the hated Patriots.

I have mixed emotions there. I'm glad the game will be at Heinz Field for sure. But I actually have a lot of respect for the Pats. It's a great organization from the top down and if you want to be the best, you need to show you can beat the best, and looking at recent history, the Pats and the Steelers have been the two best organizations. Between them, they have won five of the last ten Super Bowls.

You’d see it every evening the Hawks play at the United Center

Ditto,

Thanks for the explanation. That makes sense. Here's to
anything that gets a Cowboy fan's panties in a wad, I say. :)

Surprised the lefties on the left coast didn't blame it on Palin, Rush, Beck..or mercury in the water.

Anyone with any sense knows...Bears defeat Seahawks in any cage fight.

Because it’s part of the reported FACTS? It’s a FACT. Sorry if that makes you uncomfortable!

1. Dropped ‘body-catch’ passes.
2. Julius Peppers and decent cover-backs.
Of course, if Seattle wants to feel some championship pride, they always have the:
1. Spokane Shock
2. Eastern Washington Eagles.

( ooooh, that tastes gooooood)

Just read this morning in-depth about Rodgers’ performance Saturday. It was nothing short of amazing: 31 - 36 with three TDs and no picks. The Pack put up 48 points, and statistically Rodgers had the best game in Packers history, surpassing Brett Favre and, ahem, Bart Starr! Yes, Packers all the way!

I live in Washington and was rooting for the Hawks. I’m not sure the Bears “murdering” the Hawks is entirely accurate. More like “suicide by cop” with all of the Hawks dropped passes.

Not sure who to root for now. A long-time Vikings fan (heh - Vikings and Hawks!!??) so not sure I can root for the Bears of the Pack.

Beng someone that literally despises liberal Seattleites, I love it when they start muttering in their lattes, no matter the reason. So needless to say I absolutely LOVED the satirical article. I remember kind of sort of rooting for the Seachickens when they went to the Super Bowl, until an interview with a Seachicken fan the morning of the game. He pretty much mocked Pittsburgh fans and the fact that they were having a good time drinking cheap beer the morning of the game. That interview reminded me of how uppity liberals are further made me despise liberal Seasttleites.

The season really isn’t over for the Seachickens though; I heartell King County Governor Christine Gregoire invited them to a game of touch football out on the Capital lawn.
