Palin is apparently out of line defending herself after the far left politicized this tragic mass murder. She was supposed to continue standing aside as a passive target so that Obama could give his applause-filled speech to the crowd of libs who showed up to politicize the murders as a Dem talking point. How dare she speak in defense of herself, of human decency, and of American values?

This coward wouldn't even give his name. I'm finished with the Republican Party. I'll directly support Sarah Palin and other candidates who demonstrate the courage of their Conservative convictions. The party itself though can go straight to hell!

You know what guys? I am worn out with this stuff! 3 years of opposing what
is happening in this country and this just has broken me. I think Palin did a
wonderful job of conveying her message. The liberals I expected to raise a stink,
but the Progressive Republicans are even more vehement than the liberals. This woman now has to fear for her life over this and be slandered as well. I don’t give a rats ass what the media spins on this, I know that she has always been “Country First”. I need a break from all the insanity in the media.

My heart goes out to Giffords; it is such a cruel thing to have happen. My prayers are for her complete recovery. Period.

No, I have no doubt that the DC GOP crowd actually thinks this-—they’ve been using Politico recently as their weapon of choice against Sarah.

This "dumb s---" seems to have conveniently forgotten that the left already had made it all about Palin (with Beck, Limbaugh, and the Tea Party thrown in for good [?] measure). Sitting back and doing nothing in the face of such calumny (and the phrase "blood libel" literally fits as these are lies blaming her for the blood of innocents) is cowardly and wrong.
Then, after she made the speech, it was posted here on FR. Unfortunately, I was unable to view it due to the restrictive rules for our "company" firewall. So I was not able to view it until last night.
It was an incredible speech by an incredible woman. I believe this to be the actual turning point for SP. Whether she has officially announced, she is the defacto front runner for the office of President of the United States.
I will support her in that effort.
Another “brave” GOPer speaks out from the safety of the tall grass. Why hide his identity? Is he frightened of something?

Very few conservative commentators or republicans didn't jump in to defend her.
