So congress declared McCain a natural born U.S. citizen. They can’t do that with Obama with or without his birth certificate. It is common knowledge that he is not a natural born U.S. citizen and those in power are choosing to ignore it. The words natural born are only used in connection to the Presidency, obviously they mean more then just being born a US citizen or they wouldn’t have made a specific requirement. Obama admitted he was born with British citizenship as well as US citizenship because his daddy’s citizenship was under British sovereignty. Any US citizen born with opportunity to be something other then an American is not a natual born American. A natural born American cannot claim a birthright citizenship other than American. Obama could have claimed British citizenship. He had to choose one over the other, and then he had a third citizenship, which his mother chose for him, that he also had to make a choice about. The real issue is that no matter where he was born, even if he was born on the front steps of the White House, as long as his legal father is not a US citizen who legally (by laws of his homeland) confers non-US citizenship upon the child, the child is not a natural born citizen which is a citizen who has no birthright claim to foreign citizenship.

Everybody else is now so no reason for Rush to lay off of it.

Since the beginning ( more than 2 1/2 years ago) Rush has given the topic of Obama's eligibility **less** than five minutes. Of those **less** than five minutes, Rush has treated natural born citizenship and our Constitution as a backdrop for JOKES.

I expect that Rush will ignore the issue of having a natural born citizenship again, or if he does bring it up ( unlikely) he will again treat it and our Constitution like a JOKE.

An American born friend of mine, a citizen in the US, born to naturalized parents, decided to claim both US and her parents’ foreign citizenship because the foreign country allowes it. Now my friend is trying to decide whether to claim foreign citizenship for his/her U.S. born children because the grandparent’s former homeland allows the children and grandchildren of their former citizens to claim dual citizenship as can their former citizens. This makes no sense to someone who is born of U.S. citizen parents, grandparents and great grandparents, and who has only one foreign born great great grandparent. Divided loyalties aren’t reassuring to those of us who have only one loyalty. Though I don’t question my friend’s loyalty or family’s loyalty to the US, it is that there are instances where this could cause problems. My other question is if you have dual citizenship, shouldn’t you be paying taxes to both countries even if you are residing in only one and not the other, yet hope to take advantage of some opportunities the other country offers its citizens. What’s to stop the other country from declaring laws they want to apply to their dual citizens as well? An American born kid has to serve in the Army of their dual citizenship country?

Wonder if Rush is going to hit on this when he gets back.

Personally, I doubt that Rush will.

Please see my post #42.

That has been rumored ever since BHO was seen as being the possible Democrat presidential nominee, it's supposedly the reason that former supporters of Hillary dumped her and cast their support for Barry.

Personally, I believe these rumors to demonstrate an eggregious level of racist contempt for African Americans --- I mean, really, HOW many blacks would actually seriously riot??? A minor percentage of the gangbanger gangsters, perhaps???

The entire notion is just silly, but it's meant to scare Americans, particularly the judiciary and law enforcement and politicians.

Although I can't substantiate my belief, it's my feeling that at least 97% of blacks are very well aware that Barry is foreign born, and although they don't care and voted for him, nonetheless, they don't adore him like Mr.Tingler Chrissie Matthews and won't revolt if he's charged with felonious fraud.

I'd prefer they went after Pelosi & other high ranking Dems and the likes of celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and just permit Barry & Michelle to move back to Chicago.

Say, Muawiyah, do you happen to know if there is any expert analysis of Old Americans by sociologists or psychologist or professional genealogists OR historians or anybody about the differences between the descendants of OLD AMERICANS, as opposed to people of more recent immigration?

Just curious.....

Yeah, there are some studies done in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Every now and then someone will do one of those reports on the actual percentage of the population that is descended from black African slaves or Indians.

It's all the same thing.

Just about every individual in America who traces ancestry in America back to the 1500/1600 period has one or more non-white ancestors. Those who only go to the 1700s it's less so, and the new-comers in the 1800s and 1900s still aren't up to muster as "Real Americans" with the requisite breadth of racial backgrounds of the earlier "Creole" population.

Something so many forget is that it wasn't all white boy/white girl coming to America ~ frequently it was 100s of white boys, a handful of their black servants, and the girls down at the village!

The way this works is that women in whatever society on Earth at any period of time gravitate toward the guys with the good jobs!

It took a couple of centuries before there was widespread importation of white women ~

It just 'kills' me that BILL O'REILLY, of all people, holds any credibility with anyone who considers themselves to be conservative.

IMO, BOR is a creation of the Cult of Celebrity -- what qualifications does that ridiculous RUDE blowhard who interrupts everybody and ponitificates endlessly -- just WHAT qualifies him to be a political commentator, and why would anyone ever hang on his words?

Bill O'Reilly is nothing but a fourth-rate obscure teleprompter reader who, if he continues on TV, belongs on a gossip mongering sensationalistic INSIDE EDITION and whoever took him out of that much and dressed him up in twenty thousand designer suits ... they must have a good sense of humor. YMMV

There would be no riots ~ after all, this would be an historic event ~ the first black President to resign!

Hard to beat that one.

Sounded like O’Reilly is about a week and a half off his inner schedule. May take him a few days to realize that the Republicans are making the legislative news, not the Democrats.

I was thinking more along sociological lines.... kind of like how all those recent books about the Scotch-Irish in America, how they are warriors, brave fighters, frequently deeply conservative.

I'm curious if psychological & sociological comparisons of CONTEMPORARY descendants of Olde Old Americans versus the descendants of more "recent" immigrants have been done... in a scholarly fashion, that is.

Again, the problem is, the OLD SETTLERS are probably more like the NEW SETTLERS than would be satisfactory to the folks descended primarily from the famine people of the 1800s.

You have to have some pretty detailed genealogical work done for each individual in your surveys too ~ otherwise one white guy looks pretty much like another white guy, and so on.

BTW. the business about the Scots settlers is based pretty much on the opinion of Jim Webb, currently the crazy Senator from Virginia.

His current wife is Korean and she seems to be able to put up with him better than his first two.

The problem of dealing with the Scots is that when they arrived the place was called Alba and they were coming from Scotia, now known as Ireland. At the same time a quite large contingent of Vikings arrived and compounded everything, and even they weren't all Norse. The very boats they arrived on were built according to an ancient Sa'ami design suitible for use in alpine rivers and the Arctic ocean.

We might well ask ourselves who are the Scots and how did they get that reputation?

This is Fox and this is ALL of TV. They ALL support Obama. I refuse to play by their rules and do the most powerful thing I can do - turn in all off. Yank the plug. They get no money from me. the problem is conservatives are playing by their rules. People are addicted to TV like crack cocaine.

The more TV Americans got - they less freedom they have had.

And if it does, who cares. Are we to look the other way when our laws are violated just because someone may get upset and violent? Isn't that how most of europe has been lost to the moslems?

Exactly! Whatever happened to the policy of not negotiating with terrorists? Same goes for any criminal.

What do you expect him to say? There isn’t any proof of anything. He’d be a joke if he went off on a rant about it.
