By not fighting all out with victory and control of the region in mind, we will lose. It is impossible to win a war that is fought as a police action. It just installs someone as a police force to enforce order indefinitely. That is until the country or a group becomes strong enough to shake us off, like India did to Britain, or many nations in Africa did to colonial powers. The best part of the process is the bringing in of the people from the countries we occupy, installing the enemy within the gates to destroy us from without and within when the time comes.
The purpose of these “foreign adventures” is not to win wars, hearts or minds, but to sap the national will. It also serves to keep patriots far from home and the battle for the Republic, soon to hit movie screens near you.
I am opposed to things like smart bombs....
the best way to break a people and win a war is to bomb them into the stone age...just ask Curtis Lemay or any WW2 general. and then ask the Japanese and the Germans. 2 of our closest allies for over 60 years.
“... there’s a Kenyan in the White House”
Too funny!
For a different view and a surprising one check this out!
I saw this live and it amazed me that it came from Dan Aykroyd.
it is all a great interview but about @3:00+ his military suggestion sits well with me.

What a trooper!
“Either the Taliban go or I do!”
This is probably the sickest thing I’ve ever seen.
So the presstitutes are using someone’s last words to signal how Obambi must “stop the war” for Hal Holbrook, rest his dear heart...
Who are these people fooling?
Thank you, I just shot a Cheerio through my nose.
For sheer panache, doesn’t match Oscar Wilde’s
“Either that wallpaper goes, or I do.”
Somehow I feel the Serbian response would be rather muted.
“peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none.”
Right on how to win war but also Pakistan harbors the remnants of Al Qaeda and much of Taliban command and control, and we aren’t/won’t do enough to root out that problem, do not wish to offend Pakistani sovereignty. The Generals all know this is the real problem. Hell, even lame-brain Obama knew this before he took office. He mocked Dubya about not going after the real problem. We can’t “win” in Afghanistan without going after the Pakistan. So there it is. Many more Troops dead under Obama than under 8 years of Bush. No end in sight. Bambi planned it this way. Let it fail. Blame it on Bush and (what he sees as) our inept military.
