So, Barbara insults Palin and Palin is supposed to tell her she loves her and move on. What she should have said is “That blue blood apparently has settled in her brain and turned her hair blue.”
I never did like any of the Bushes. I rallied behind W during the recount and have grown to dislike him as much as I disliked his “read my lips” daddy.

I can’t wait for the video of (insert name of Palin-supporting pundit) slamming Rove for slamming Palin and Huckabee for slamming the Bushes.
IMHO he is right here. It's not that Barbara didn't start it with an acerbic comment. But I can imagine if Reagan had dealt with the same comment, he would have smiled and said something about the irascible elderly women who say things and we love them anyway.
I had the same problem until I turned off my radio at 3 EST and television at 9 EST...works like a charm. No Rove...it's rather refreshing.

If Palin had said something like Reagan Rove would have condemned her for trying to sound like Reagan.

Anyone knows you don't "deserve" respect based on some past or current position, you must earn it. You can resect opinions or you can respect an office, but people must earn it. Although generally Mrs. Bush has in the past, her and her Mr Rove's recent assault on the "current" wannabes don't deserve it. Why don't they take George W's lead and just mind their own business. At least GW is right on this account.
Am I the only one around here who remembers a thread than ran daily for 8 years that practically worshipped the Bushes? And that any who dared utter ONE WORD of criticism on that same thread would often be sent to the cornfield?
I wonder how many of those who policed those threads are jumping all over the Bushes now. Guess they don't mind a little egg on their faces.
Get a grip, people...these are only POLITICIANS...they aren't GODS. No more and no less!
So, lets hash it out NOW rather than DURING THE NEXT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION when all the marbles are in play.
