I didn’t realize there were any Republicans left in California.
Yeah he can talk for sure. Kinda funny at times.
Is this meant as a political ad or just another blog pimp?
More than most governors running for president.
I really liked Huckabee. He was one of the few candidates who I felt believed in Conservatism from the heart, and loved America more than he loved the American dollar (McCain, for instance, fits in none of these categories, and neither does Romney).
He is well spoken, intelligent, and could make Obama and his teleprompter look like a fool in a debate with nearly the skill of Reagan.
Unfortunately, this:

He’s had his Willie Horton moment, and as a result of this, is damaged goods on the national political scene. Americans don’t want a President who is soft on crime in such a direct and personally identifiable way.
“....he is a force to be reckoned with.”
Like flies at a picnic.
Last night, he sent out for Chinese.
both.
Thanks for your honesty.
He just seems so passive. More Fred Rogers than Ronald Reagan.
Me, the big boss man, and many others.
Notice the location written on the bottom of the page. Fresno CA.
I know that CA just elected Gov. Moonbeam, but there ARE CA Republicans.
Ronald Reagan was one.
The MSM will predictably prop up a GOP candidate (e.g., Huckabee, Romney, Palin) who has electability issues (perceived or actual), with plans to then dump all over the candidate once he/she receives the nomination.
Open borders and freebies for illegal aliens. He's certainly more enthusiastic than his fellow RINO Mitt Romney in this category.
The Republican candidate for Senator got 400,000 more votes than any other Republican senatorial candidate across the US in the 2010 elections.
So, yes, there are still a lot of us here... we're just overwhelmed by the libs in LA and the Bay Area.
Except you are only getting one side of the story.
Huckabee did reduce Clemmons sentence in keeping with the guidelines and usual sentences handed out to comparable offenders. He was sentenced to over a hundred years for crimes in which no one was physically harmed.
Second, Huckabee did not pardon Clemmons. He reduced his sentence (and not even to time served, as Governors often do.)
Third, the final decision to parole Clemmons was made by a parole board. There was a public time for comment, and no one came forward to oppose the reduction (or his release, I think).
There were countless other opportunities to hold Clemmons on much severer charges in Arkansas and Washington but the authorities blew it in both places.
Have you read Huckabee’s side of the story:

The details don’t, really matter.
