Well, like trappedincanuckistan told me, Frum’s mother was a propagandist for the government owned news in Canada so lying comes easy for Frum.

This "article" is nothing but Frum's wishful thinking and his sorry opinion.

Ah, I see. She was a major propagandist. He’s following in mommy’s footsteps. Maybe he’s a homosexual?

This link provides recent poling data regarding Obama, Romney, Huckabee, and Palin as well as some others. Romney vs. Obama comes out 1% ahead. Huckabee vs. Obama comes out 2% behind. These figures are within the margin of error. Palin comes out around 10% behind. However, since FReepers hate Romney, she stands a good chance of lots of support.

I have no idea about that, but I do know he’s been a big government type throughout his career.

Will be interesting to see what role Rick Perry plays as head of the Republican Governors during the next election. Sarah did campaign in Texas for him when he was running for Governor and she has two book signings in our state next week.

This post is quite sickening. It seems so as you are mocking Huckabee for being obese on one hand and showcasing Palin’s looks as a key reason for electing her on the other.

This seems to be a recurring theme for some people. It's not limited to Palin either, we saw it with O'Donnell in Delaware as well.

I’m afraid so. He has “ambitions.” I would have thought that he liked the money at Fox News, but they guy has presidential ambitions.

Why would someone interested in restoring Constitutional government endorse a liberal female RINO over a very proven Conservative? (Think Handel vs. Deal.)

You’re right about that. Rick Perry should be on her side.

Not familiar with all the elections. Simply pointing out the absurdity of politically/philosophically/economically educated people not liking Mike Huckabee because he’s a little overweight.

Are you really trying to pimp Romney here? If he gets the nomination, there is so much the dems can do to Romney to completely depress conservative vote. Plus our greatest weapon against Obama, Obamacare, is of no use with Romney in there because of Romneycare.

It does not matter what the polls say now. We don’t even know if we can trust the polls because they are very poor at registering enthusiasm. Palin may or may not be down in the polls, but I can guarantee that her supporters will be out in force and no matter what the lib dems say about her (nothing they haven’t already said), the people will be out there supporting her.

Romney may be appear to be up in the polls but once the truth about Romney and his elitist, flip flopping, Romneycare, statist, anti-gun, pro-gay, pro-choice past get played up, you could not pay people to go to the polls and vote for him. It would be worse than the beating McCain took.

so basically Romney is a opportunistic politician who would do and say anything without principals just to get votes and Huckster is a true liberal

Thats not a bad way to describe it, but I think Romney is pretty much a liberal, who is now trying to hide it, while Huckabee is just a populist who chooses to emphasize his social conservative side, while (now) passing over his liberal economic side.

Huck is also a unabashed supporter of pork (his PAC was actually built around it) using a "infrastructure" argument, and is no tea party supporter (much like Romney)....His soft on crime beliefs, are also something that would be further to the left then even some liberals would be comfortable with.

Personally, I am for a more the merrier primary, you get a sharper debate and more seriousness with more viable candidates who challenge each other. Huckabee could at least push the social issues, which is about all he could do.

Read the poll at The Blaze. Here's the link and their headline.

When the huckster took off during the pres. primaries to the Cayman Islands for a “book signing and speach” that raised a lot of questions..which he has never answered. He said he needed the money but at the same time wifey was flying out to the Hard Rock cafe in LV. Wonder who paid for those trips?

When huckster followers are presented with this they choose to ignore it or change the subject. Classic cult response.
He had a lot of good folks supporting him once but now many are asking questions and moving away...FAST.

The huckster has a following of the same type that followed Jim Jones.

When one releases felons and has Joy Behar proclaim him to be her favorite Republican, he has no business running for president.
