In the 1970’s when Yassir Arafat and his friends were hijacking planes, you could walk up to an airline’s counter, pay cash, and walk out to the terminal gate, and get on the plane. No hassle. This was how American aviation worked. Political correctness now means that instead of looking for people who fit a narrow profile of nervousness, ethnicity, and behavior, Everyone must be treated like prisoners going into a jail. plane. A national no fly day or two would get the airline lobbyists attention. And that would get Congresses attention. TSA bureaucratic rules are not law. Congress gets to set the rules.

Racial Profiling is GOOD !! Terrorist PROFILING is BETTER !!

There are two types of people on this issue though, you are right. There are people that understand what’s wrong about thism and then there’s people like you, who do not.
I understand it perfectly but I am opposed to flying on a plane with someone packing a bomb......go through the scanner(who cares), get on the plane and have a good vacation
Are you seriously telling me that the regular metal detectors and screening you get is not good enough? You’ve been flying that way ever since 9-11. Now we can’t possibly survive if we don’t all either get microwaved by the pornoviewer or get searched like a criminal?
So all the regular crap (that most people still go through) isn’t good enough anymore? Most people are still going through that way, so oh my god, 90-95% of people could still have a bomb on them!
Just a question - do you go get flu shots when the government tells you you won’t survive the winter without one?
I never get flu shots, I figure that if everyone else gets one, I won’t have anyone to catch it from....I ended a sentence with a preposition....whoops
