I read the editorial and was just shocked by the editors’ endorsement of conservative principles since I have occasionally run across copies of that paper and have seen their leftist views.
The skeptic in me thinks that they know ol’ Tom is going to be defeated and that they are just kissing up to 1) Hurt and 2) their readership whose views may have shifted somewhat recently.
