Not that I had much respect for Mr. Erickson's judgment in the first place, but this dispenses with any remaining illusions I might have had.
The only good thing about Tancredo is that he's not Jon Hickenlooper. But on the downside, Tancredo is a self-promoting boob who would be a disaster in the governor's mansion. Nobody in their right mind should be "happy" about endorsing him.
Dan Maes went from crooked cop to crooked pol.
Too bad the facts didn’t come out until after the primary.
The info was out there that Dan Maes was a dud before the primary. People must not have been paying attention or felt they had no choice. I just left that line blank on the ballot.

Luckily for Colorado very few agree with you.You are entitled to your opinion.

Yeah, right. Tancredo's gonna get pasted in the general.
I'm quite pissed at the Colorado GOP right now....
Speak for yourself.
No problem.
Eric is right on this one.
I have no use for the Colorado GOP since
Focus on the Family brought their carpetbags
in from California
A less humble Jesse Ventura is the perfect solution for Colorado.
It's important for conservatives to defeat ourselves first before the Democrats can beat us to it.
So Erickson had to think between Tancredo and Meas? Meas is so corrupt and damaged this should have been a no brainer.
Tom Tancredo has years of experience and will do a fine job as governor. I’m very happy to have Tom Tancredo as a choice. Other “right minded” folks like me such as Mike Rosen, Dan Caplis, Bob Beauprez, Mike Coffman, Josh Penry, Bob Schaffer, Steve King of Iowa and many other Republicans and conservatives are happy to endorse him and/or have him as a choice this November. Go Tancredo!
How likely is this scenario? It seems borderline hysterical to me...
Tancredo Ping
Tom Tancredo has years of experience, all right .... putting out endless bomb-throwing press releases that usually attacked his own party.
If you want to judge by results, however, Mr. Tancredo accomplished nothing in Washington, DC. You'll be hard-pressed to find any piece of legislation of his that even made it out of committee, much less got signed into law.
Dan Maes collecting "campaign contributions".
Unfortunately, it's a very likely scenario.
Dan Maes is a nightmare candidate who was (embarrassingly) the Tea Party favorite leading up to the primaries. The GOP contender self-destructed over plagiarism, which pretty much handed the nomination to Maes.
Maes turns out to have seriously lied about his resume, and he has a penchant for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.
