Yes. I called and wrote Chambliss about this and I got a generically-worded, form letter back. He is not listening to anyone.

Is this connected to the Rawesome Food Club raid?

Yes, it is.

Excerpted from the article -
“A few months ago, Morningland Dairy in Mountain View, Missouri had cheese confiscated in the Rawesome Food Club raid.”

When the local farmer’s markets close and the Libtard Feral Zombie Looter Hordes no longer have access to home-grown (for the locavores) organic meats and veggies they will feel like Pastor Martin Niemöller who said, “First they came for the Jews, but I wasn’t a jew...”

The useful idiots who are the proponent of this nanny state tyranny don’t realize that these regulations raise the bar for competition. When it comes time for them to have to grow their own crops and then they find out that the Wickard v. Filburn applies to them too....Will they be bright enough to lament their actions?

I hope so.

Seems they were operating a food facility without a valid permit.

The Hearing Notice claimed ILLEGAL FOOD FACILITY violation of CAL Code 114381 (states that a food facility shall not be open for business without a valid permit to operate. Operation of a food facility without a valid permit may result in closure of the facility and penalty fees of up to three times the original permit fee) , and violation of Title 8 LA County Code 8.04.932 (Business without a public health license or permit prohibited. No person shall engage in, conduct, manage or carry on any business or other activity for which a license or permit is required by this chapter if: A. He or she does so without having, pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, procured a license or permit to do so and paid the fee required; or B. If such license or permit has expired, been suspended, revoked, or denied. (Ord. 96-0069 § 58, 1996: Ord. 89-0080 § 6, 1989.); 8.04.934 Operating without a public health license or permit–Deemed misdemeanor–Penalty. A violation of Section 8.04.932 is a misdemeanor punishable by fine, or imprisonment in the county jail for a period not exceeding six months, or both. (Source: Laguna Natural Health Enews and Tips)

Heck, in Italy, the farmers are realizing that the EU now controls them, and they cannot use milk from their own cows to make Italian cheeses! They must sell their milk to other EU nations and buy milk from other nations in order to address “economic inequities”.

When do you think the geniuses will figure out that exceptional Italian cheese comes from Italian cows eating Italian grass!? And that Italy will begin to suffer “economic inequities” when their cheeses cease to be Italian!?

Dirty little secret time - The powers that be do not care about “economic inequities” for ANYONE. They care, and care pretty damn deeply about POWER.

Ok. So why would the FDA bother with all the hullabaloo about no rights to health, or freedom of contracts, or choices of families to feed their children as they see fit?

Why not just say ya need a permit?

AND also, why is the Fed. Gov. perfectly ok with this permitless clean little dairy selling their milk to pasteurized processing plants?

I do not think this is about permits my FRiend.

Yes, they use the fact that some useful idiots care about certain inequities and call for ‘social justice’ and then the tyrants say they will rescue us by addressing those inequities by choosing the winners and losers in that social justice for us.

And when it doesn’t work out, they say they need more power to provide more ‘justice’ or ‘security’ or whatever it is the Feral Zombie Looter Hordes are calling for - anything except the defense of the rights of the individuals and individual responsibility.

Did they? Or did the blogger just post those quotes?

“This is my line in the sand folks. What I choose to eat and why is none of their damn business. It is MY body, and MY health and I will eat what I decide is best for both!”

Welcome to the party. Those of us who have been fighting the insane war on some drugs have been saying this for decades. A lot of conservatives are perfectly willing to give up their right to control what goes into their body, as long as they get to tell other people that they cannot get high legally (except for alcohol).

Ummm. Did you go to the site and follow the links to the FDA’s legal brief to the court? That is what I posted my excerpts from. The FDA said all those things and more.

Read the brief and get your heart started this morning : \

Because without the permit they can't sell to the general public. From your original post.

They are now able to sell milk into the commercial pasteurized chain,

The chain will pasteurize the milk and because they have a permit will then be able to sell to the public.

If your excerpts are from the FDA why does your source link say

Have you read the brief yet, or are unalienable rights really no biggie for you? I am starting to think maybe I need to take a few minutes to peruse through your posts a bit.

Thanks for bumping the thread, but the source was the foodfreedom blog at wordpress, hence the blogger designated header :)

The blog contains LINKS to various different articles and Documents. Like the FDA brief to the court.

If you actually went to the site and read the article, it would certainly make things easier for you ; }

I went to the site, I just didn’t go read all the various links.

You said you excerpted from the FDA, so THAT should have been your source, not some stupid blog. This will be the last bump from me. I despise blog pimps and wish FR had a way of blocking blogs from the sidebar.

This had nothing to do with the 1966 Grade A Pasteurized Milk Ordinance but everything to do with government paperwork legislation. The wholesomeness of the milk is not in question, its the so called legal aspect or permits to do so that are in question.
