Well, I guess we should just give up then right? Screw that, we fight in every district and in every state. California shall return.
I demand a retraction. Unless you have been to Washington state, you have no idea what kinds of beauty is out there.
:>)
Silicone, not silicon.
I must have visited the wrong beaches when I was there. I would take several of Florida’s beaches over what I saw in CA any day.
Many parts of Washington is a beautiful State as is California, I have living in both. The difference is Washington is just a lot wetter.
“Silicone, not silicon.”
But they both are made from silica sand.
A Moonbeam governing Moonbats. Perfect. Why bother putting in a RINO.
Thank you for saving me the trouble of pointing this important fact out. [If you are a Californian, it really isn’t true, and you need to stay just where you are. I would also suggest to Californians wanting to move that they avoid Texas - the state bird is a rattlesnake, and the state flower is Poison Oak. Michigan, Illinois, Massachusetts, or New York would be far better destinations for you.]
My mother and sister live in Riverside, so I know what that part of the state looks like.
The western side of Washington is a LOT wetter, but the eastern side is usually pretty dry, although not up to California standards for sure.
Depends on what kind of beauty you like. The Blue Ridge mountains and lakes are gorgeous, especially in autumn. For sheer grandeur of the “purple mountain majesties” type, nothing beats Alaska. For beaches, Hawaii wins, hands down. All IMHO.
But California is beautiful as well. Haven’t been to Washington - yet.
Oh, a stupid blog opinion.
Here we go again. The same talking points were made about Arnold and look what happened.
Jerry Brown needs to win, and the state needs to have its hair-of-the-dog moment. I predict four things by 2015: Anarchy when leftists are faced with severe budget cuts, a Mexican takeover, a massive earthquake, or the state breaking up into several smaller states.
The title of Brown's was How I Whipped the Med Fly.
[For those not around, the Mediterranean Fruit Fly was destroying a good portion of Kali's agriculture in the late 1970s, almost as fast as Barbara Boxer & Co is now, causing other agricultural states to try to ban the import of Med Fly-laded California produce, making Brown run to the courts, etc.]
I usually get to CA once per year and it is funny, one of the places I visit is a liberal enclave - Santa Cruz. Very beautiful and interesting town ! But the liberal vibe is definitely noticed ! I also visit the UCSC campus. Very interesting place. They have some nice areas to go biking at though.
Heh, there is some truth in this. Let the voters get a Gov. who will give the Unions and the pension funds everything they want, and they can pay for it, too.
Not that I expect Whitman to be a stellar defender of fiscal responsibility, of course.
Indeed Kalifornia does indeed deserve Jerry for and second time around!
Any populace who repeatedly elects CommieCrates deserves the abyss, and Jerry is the merry bus driver who will drive them of the cliff with a simile on his completely ignorant face!
Good luck to all Kalifornia CommieCrate lovers, you are going to get what you ‘richly’ deserve (pardon the pun, please)
