Actually Colbert did have one good idea yesterday—that the ground should be waist high. It certainly would make weeding easier. Maybe Congress should work on that during the lame duck session instead of the kinds of mischief that Reid and Pelosi will try to push through after the election.

It was suggested by Rush that this charade was orchestrated by the Democrats to make sure that all the cameras and newspeople were there instead of at another hearing. That hearing featured an insider testifying that Holder’s Justice Department was aggressively prosecuting whites and refusing to prosecute blacks. The Democrats certainly didn’t want any attention paid to that so they organized this circus. I guess John Conyers was left out of the loop when he tried to end it.

Come on people get a grip, Congress is a joke and Colbert’s testimony was hilarious. It was a slap in the face of those pompous windbags and they deserved every bit of it.

He gave his oath the same respect that his host Congress-people gave theirs when they were sworn into office.
