I’d wondered what happened in this case.
I remember it well cause at the time I thought gee we don’t hear a lot of dirt that happend in Kyrgyzstan of all places.
Maybe just a few more than we hear about Ulan Bator.
According to an informed source at Landstuhl AFB Medical Center in Germany, where Metzger was flown for medical treatment, the petite major refused to submit to tests that could have confirmed or disproved a recent pregnancy.
Hey I was there between ‘91 and ‘95. Great place to work. Otherwise this sounds like the chick got her azz knocked up on tdy and went to get a quickie abortion which was messed up. She then panicked “I’m AWOL, my hubby will know I been *ucking around like a common slut.”

It wasn’t an attempt at moderation ... it was a commentary on the credibility of the source. If you continue to see such questions as “fighting words”, I suspect you’ll run into actual moderation before too long.

1. Why would a deployed female officer whose husband in in the US not be on birth control if she is going to be sexually active (if the abortion theory is true)?
2. Why would an AF general be protecting her (if true)?
3. Why would she receive 100% disability when men from Vietnam with real PTSD and Agent Orange disabilities still are not receiving disability pay?
Answer: Sounds like a coverup, but not hers. Since this is entire speculation because the story has not unfolded, maybe the general raped her, she became pregnant, and now HE's the one covering it up. Just my 2 cents.

How will you know?
If she was given non-judicial punishment, it wouldn’t be public information. It seems like she should have gotten something more severe, but there may be circumstances that we aren’t aware of.

Sounds to me that between a Lt.Gen and a Major, neither knows how to operate a condom. Shoosh, she was a shoe in for LtCol. That is the usual payback for blowing a Lt.Gen. Typical Air Farce.

Well Deb, since this has cost the taxpayer hundreds of millions of dollars in higher base rental payments, hospitalization, C-17 medivac costs, Fed grand jury costs (as reported by Steve Centanni and Greta Von Sustern), disability, medical pension etc-—Don’t you think the taxpayers and rank and file have a right to know what a field grade officer did to cause this misadventure? Is this our fault or something, and if so, why and how?
Governments usually announce when a war is over-—even Cold wars. Usually. I’m sure we will be able to determine when the war is concluded when active combat and advisory roles/missions end and the deployed troops return to their Bases Stateside/Europe/Asia/Pacific.
