He is defending the constitution and its principals from a man who is openly attacking them, operating in the oval office without revealing any qualifying document. A president who is openly showing contempt and disrespect for the people and Constitution. Lakin is not only attacked by the president who refuses to come clean, he also endures attacks from fellow citizens.”

I fully agree with you and I think LTC/Dr. Lakin is brave and correct to do what he is doing. However, there are some on FR that don’t see it as we do. It does no good to press the issue with them because they are just as settled in their beliefs as we are in ours. In the case of Non-Seq. I trully believe him when he says that his motives for taking a hard line against LTC Lakin is based upon his view that a court martial is not the proper venue to pursue the issue brought up by Dr. Lakin. His view is that such actions are detrimental to military discipline. His view is actually a conservative one (from a military point of view) and has merit. I am willing to accept a potential risk to military discipline to pursue a, IMO, greater purpose, he is not. So, I have chosen to be respectful of his position because it is of pure motive.

I agree he comes across as abrasive, pompous, and rude. However, we probably come across to him as bumpkin insurgents fomenting rebellion. Your background will shape your views.

I still hope that something will break in Dr. Lakins favor, which I believe is in the country’s best interests. That is my opinion.

There is a constitutional concept at stake here.

Some willfully vacate that concept in order to defend obama and another agenda outside the constitution.

Part of Obama’s goal is to cut America down to size. His perspective is third world. His self image is that of World king. He grew up in Indonesia, learning a different game.

While we were learning to pledge allegiance to the American Flag, he was learning the Koran and that America is evil. While we were learning about Washington and 13 colonies, he was learning the Islamic government of Indonesia and 57 Islamic states.

His wife proudly proclaims his home country is Kenya. He gets elected to the US Senate, and proudly runs back to his home country to show off his new trophy in his home country.

During the election, A reporter goes to Kenya to investigate Obama's past, and he is arrested and sent back to the states.

Anyone who is watching this man, willfully turning a blind eye and excusing what is going on , in my humble opinion, is in fact intentionally defending Obamas attack on America. Agreeing to an officers request to show his qualifying documents is the minimum I would expect from a US president. But this president grew up in Indonesia studying the Koran, dreaming of being a King. He is not a US president. He just occupies the office. He only has contempt for the constitution and the people it serves. >
