Castle and Coons are both statists. So unless O’Donnell wins, we lose.

Why Christine?

Side By Side Comparison of Christine O’Donnell & Mike Castle:
Jobs Voted for Nancy Pelosi’s cap and tax energy scheme which would kill 6,117 Delaware jobs and also voted for the job-killing minimum wage hike. Believes jobs are created when businesses are freed from endless taxes and bureaucratic red tape.
Security Voted with liberals in Congress to handicap our intelligence and military agencies. Believes terrorism is an act of war requiring the full force of our intelligence and military resources rather than granting terrorists precious Constitutional rights and outsourcing our foreign policy to the U.N.
Debt Voted to increase the national debt & consistently supports Washington’s reckless spending. Believes heaping trillions in debt on the backs of our grandchildren is immoral and that Congress is elected to make the hard choices to preserve our nation’s future prosperity.
Taxes Voted to keep the death tax, to increase taxes by $3,100 on every American family, and to remove the protection of the middle class from dramatic tax increases originally intended to hit <200 of the richest Americans. Will fight to remove the crushing tax burden faced by American families and businesses and dramatically simplify the tax code.
Life Voted to subject children to out-of-state abortions without consent of parents, voted to use U.S. funds to support Planned Parenthood at home and abroad, supports human cloning, and sponsored the bill to destroy, exploit and experiment on unborn children as scientific lab-rats. Strongly believes in protecting the sanctity of life at ALL stages.
Energy Voted to ban exploration for American energy, keeping gas prices high, to prohibit drilling in America’s land and waters, and to ban building new oil refineries. Supports a market-based approach to energy solutions that will keep competition high and energy prices low.
Values Voted to allow liberal activist judges to strip “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance, against the Constitutional protection of marriage, and against educational choice for parents with children in failing schools. Believes our country was founded on core values of faith, family and freedom and will fight to defend those values. Will always fight for maximum choice for parents about where to educate their kids, including private, parochial and charter schools or in the home.
Spending Voted to spend billions on failed stimulus packages & bailouts. Believes unrestrained government spending is eroding our freedom, destroying our economy and ceding our sovereignty to foreign debt- holders like China.
Accountability Voted to protect 103 outrageous pork projects that would lead to corruption and waste. Denounces corrupt pork-barrel politics, including earmarks, and will fight for increased transparency and performance information for every Federal program.
Healthcare Remained undecided about Pelosi’s government takeover of healthcare until 4 days before vote. Believes that the solution to the healthcare crisis is less government meddling in the doctor/patient relationship, more competition in the insurance market and more choice for families about their health plan.
Gun Control Received an “F” rating from the NRA, indicating a strong anti-2nd Amendment position. Christine’s strong support of 2nd Amendment rights has earned her an “A” rating from the NRA.

Why are you for Mike Castle, a career politician who’s more liberal than conservative and who’s already said he will vote for kneecap and tax and against repealing obamacare?

I'm with you, rin.

We know who Castle is....a guy ready to support Biggie O and his HC. That alone is enough make any sane person run, not walk, away from him.

We have to take congress back with those willing to stand with us to fix this mess otherwise, why work hard to take it back?

Senator Coons won’t be much different than Senator Castle. Mike Castle had a 28 ACU rating in 2008. He is slightly better than the “Dingbat Twins” from Maine, but not by much.

If Mark Levin is cool with that, then he’s not a conservative fellowtraveller.

Maybe you should ask Mark himself about it. He IS a FReeper you know...

No, that is wrong.

It's Delaware.

Works for me. If you put Coons right next to Castle, you would see there was little to no difference.

I don’t believe Coons will win in November against O’Donnell but even if I did, I would still support her both because it is the right thing to do and because it denies Beau Biden a free shot at the Senate in 2014. Biden would have to primary Coons and the resulting bloodbath could leave the Dem nominee damaged in that race.

The Dems want Castle to win for just this reason. It gives them a reliable, statist vote for 4 years and a continuation of the Biden hegemony in Delaware thereafter. So the call is easy: Deny them what they want. Vote O’Donnell.

There reaches a point when the stench is so bad that you can't just hold your nose and vote for a liberal Republican. With Castle the stench is than bed.

If Christine O’Donnell beats Castle in the primary....next day she’s on Fox News. Later she’s on CNN...maybe Access Hollywood...even Dancing With the Stars.

In short she will be the immediate darling of the Media, a great story of an American Girl Who Beat a Mighty Politician.

Coons, who?

She’ll beat Coons hands down don’t even come in with an argument like that. That argument is a repeat of one who knows nothing about life and politics.

Besides, assmuing Coons Who were to beat O’Donnell, which, heh he won’t I got a bridge to sell any dummy who thinks so....what’s the diff if Coons votes FOR Cap and Trade or Mike Castle votes for Cap and Trade?

Which Castle did vote for Cap and Trade in the House...you know that, right? Why should we assume he wouldn’t do so in the Senate?

Sounds like a better conservative could have beaten Castle in a primary but ODonnell is not the best they could have put up. Too bad. Though as far as who is electable is concerned, it looks like even Castle is no sure thing. 0bama has a 55% approval rating in DE. I have to wonder if that state isn’t just too far gone. Maybe they should be written off.

Christine O’Donell, may I remind, WAS nominated by the Delaware GOP to run against Joe Biden in 2008.

So how comes all of a sudden she’s such a bad candidate?

Was the Delaware GOP lying then about O’Donnell, or are they lying now?

One only needs to read the Castle “voted” items from MarkLevinFan above to have your answer. Better to have a Democrat with a D following his name than one with a false R. You should never have to watch your back at the same time you watch the opposition. No more RINOs.
