I've actually had dhimmis argue this point.
They insist that the son of Hitler/Stalin/Mao, would be eligible if born on US soil.
They so desperately want to believe in him, they would sell out our sovereignty in a heartbeat!

If we're thinking about the same instance, the lady called Øbama an "Arab".
McCain quickly grabbed the microphone from her and insisted that Øbama was a decent family man and a "citizen".
