I repeat, for the 903,723,905th time...Romney CAN NOT WIN the 2012 election.
If Obamacare/Romneycare hasn’t pissed off the entire electorate by then (and I think it will, btw), there’s this:
As sure as the sun will come up in the morning that day, I promise you on the head of my only child, that if he somehow wins the Republican nomination, we will be treated to the following.
A front page spread on the NYT which will detail, chapter and verse, the entire Romney family tree (just like they tried to hang an affair on McCain) and all their “issues.” The polygamy in his background and all the rest. The fact that his own father was born in Mexico so his grandparents could escape the scourge of polygamy in the US. Also, they will offer a full bloom of the LDS church.
If that wasn’t enough (and trust me, it is) there is this:
Romney was never the lead dog in 2008. No one was tailing him. Therefore, Bain Capital (his firm) has NEVER been vetted at all.
Good grief. The surest way to get the loser re-elected is to nominate Romney.
Oh, and one more thing.
This should go over the GOP electorate like a lead balloon:
Not one single male member of the Romney clan has ever served in the US Military.
Not in times of war, nor times of peace.
Lovely.
Takers, not givers.
Not in times of war, nor times of peace.
Mitt was asked about his the fact that his sons hadn't served during the last election. He told the audience that his sons were serving the nation by campaigning for him.
He added: "One of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping me get elected because they think I'd be a great president."
Romney noted that his middle son, 36-year-old Josh, was completing a recreational vehicle tour of all 99 Iowa counties on Wednesday and said, "I respect that and respect all those and the way they serve this great country."
Here: Romney: Sons Serve Country By Campaigning
The sort of overblown ego and moral sickness it takes to equate riding around in a tricked out Winnebago with the selfless risks taken every day by our soldiers is disgusting and vile.
