I don’t approve of gov’t schools and my mother made a lot of sacrifies so that I wouldn’t have to go to one (because she knew how bad the were) but you were questioning what could be difficult in a teacher’s job and I informed you.
There would be no need or even the slightest excuse for unions anywhere if management/bosses treated their workers decently.
I think that without th union it would have been worse for the reachers, because everyone seems to think their job is easy and there isn’t much respect for their profession.
