The sheer brilliance of the man just emanates from that pic. Speaks volumes.
Glad you liked the post.
Exactly...the snake oil the regime has bought is Marx’s. Krugman’s snake oil merely provides them “respectable” cover for their policies.
I guess it is true then. You can only pile BS up so high then it fall over on the piler
“We progressives need to stick together and embellish our talking points without someone from the outside pointing out fallacies in our ideology.”
This statement summarizes liberal ideology - from their own lips - better than anything.
Thank you very much.
Krugman and the New York editorial page have something in common. Wrong 100% of the time. He is the most dishonest economist I have ever seen.He has always doctored the premise to meet his argument. His work is shabby posturing. Ever notice when he is on a talk show he avoids looking the interviewer in the eyes.
He won the Nobel Prize for 1 reason. Five Norwegian socialists agreed with him.
He’s never done anything real. He is a fraud.

Mrs., an MIT-trained economist apparently years/ decades younger than he, is nasty . I doubt she stayed off his blog, no doubt created some strife as the incoming missiles struck.
Five Norwegian socialists agreed with him.
“Bush’s fault.”

Wait she CHOSE the name Latrina? What was her name before?
“Madam Sh*thouse”
Oh.

The ONLY reason liberal columnists survive is because they don’t have to respond to common sense conservatives. Liberal talk radio can’t because they can or should take callers that oppose their opinion and when they do, get slayed every time. Conservative talk works because of common sense. When a liberal caller calls Rush, Sean, Glenn, Mark etc it simply turns into a yelling, sweating and hissy fit session for the lib caller. His arguments are reduced to dust because he’s likely never had anyone oppose his views.
When the five Norwegians gave the peace prize to Hussein, any previous prizes they awarded were cheapened considerably, Krugman’s included.
You are right. The liberal stance is really nothing more than raw emotion. Trying to discuss anything with them is like arguing with a hysterical woman.
In free markets, if consumers are dissatisfied, they vote with their feet by changing providers/suppliers. Providers/suppliers either improve...or they die.
Without this wonderful and often forgotten feature (forgotten by socialist academics, that is), there is no "existential" impetus for improvement and, without "existential" impetus/motivation, governments (and business monopolies) are unable and unwilling to undertake the EXTREMELY PAINFUL process of growth and adaptation.
Without this "existential" impetus, inertia takes hold...and takes over!
This is a beautiful thing. This article should be read in its entirety.
I have often mused upon the power of both clicks and comments. The internet has opened up the possibility of true public debate. We can “vote” for stories we think should receive more coverage by clicking on pieces, etc. But most importantly we can add true value — as the commenters to Krugman’s blog did in multiples — to the debate by making excellent, substantive, non-vulgar comments all over the internet.
I say “non-vulgar” because this is one of the first thing that distinguishes our forum and comments from the DU mindset. And it is also the first excuse these Krugman types use for deleting comments or shutting down comments altogether.
This article demonstrates the methodical and disciplined exercise of true intellectual power, applied relentlessly until the wrong policy ideas were, in this blog, defeated.
I sure hope someone has a cache of all the comments and blog posts over the last month.
yes, and hooray for Sean from Florida!
I agree. It’s a model for what can and must be done out there in the public square of debate. We can win on ideas. Facts, history, they are on the side of conservative ideas. This article shows a model for engagement that can be truly effective, over and over again as the Progs try to foist their fantastical lies on our nation.
