Because much of their stuff comes in through AZ.so the more contact (or more "probing" contact) illegals have with the law (read:Arpaio...new immigration law) the less of their stuff gets through and the greater the risk that *they'll* wind up in handcuffs someday.

There might be cheers in the streets in Mexico, but this is the stupidest thing they could do. This would turn the tide of tolorance against them in a big way and the border would be littered with the bodies of illegals.

The key to successful crime is keeping as low a profile as possible and fly under the radar so to speak. Killing a Sheriff ain’t gonna fly. That went out in the 20’s here in the US.
