I am starting to think it will be very much like the rome vs vandals / goths etc.
The mindset of the mucky-muck socialist/marxist moron tribe.
(go read Whittle’s Tribes essay again.)
means that confronted with an across the board rejection of their ‘leadership’ they don’t have useful tools to respond with.
the lamestream media won’t help them in this scenario.
that is why zero wants a kill switch for the internet.

Smallpox was what I was thinking of. It is easy to produce and weaponize. The vaccine is cheap and 100% effective. But if you don't have the vaccine you are suffering 50% death rates.
Hmmm, good point. It would really be Hell on people who were born sometime after 1974, give or take, since around that time, the smallpox vaccination was stopped for the general public. I hear that even if you had the immunization, it could be weakened maybe, I keep hearing pro and con.

Someone help me out. There's been a book mentioned around here written by a gentleman who lived thru the economic crisis in Argentina back whenever. I know Travis has mentioned it many times.
Since Travis is on a sabbatical from FR, can someone help me out with the title and author?
TIA.

I don't know about a book but I was drawn to a blog site called
Surviving In Argentina. You may want to take a look.

Wow I was in JH when that song was popular and never paid attention nor understood the lyrics. Thanks for posting those lyrics. Gives me new respect and appreciation for the song and band....
I just started college when that song came out in the fall of 1985, graduated high school earlier that year. I knew it was about a resistance fighter taking on an oppressive system, but it seems like the meaning it very clear now, we could be living it soon.

Good job bro. Luckily, I am in a neighborhood that is filled primarily with hittable women.Travis, I think you're going to need to clarify for Laz your concept of "embedded minorities".
I don't think he's getting it.
I'm sure he's hoping to, but I don't think he is.

The question I have is will this cube hold true in the military where you have such a melting pot and such a life/death reliance among those in different parts of the cube, what say you?

A dimension to this cube that I think is important and may actually set it off is the taxpayer vs. non-taxpayer. Socialist policy will ultimately swell the ranks of the dependents to the point where public budgets cant support them. When services are cut and the dependents start wandering out into the land inhabited by the producers to take what they think they deserve, then the shooting will start. And a bump for a good summation.

“Entitled” folks won’t be organized, because following leaders is a lot like work, and we can’t have that.

The Roman Empire fell because it had a hollowed-out middle class, and a hollowed-out military. Its founding principles of civic virtue were eroded by the pauperising effect of the public dole. Its wealth-producers were taxed to death, and state spending was completely out of control.
And all of these years I thought the Romans perished because of lead pipes for plumbing.

Another scenario is a split between those who live off the government (including bureaucrats) and those who do not (and foot the bill). Considering what has been made public recently about the higher total wage/benefit packages that government workers get compared to privately employed workers, instead of saying "taxpayer vs. non-taxpayer", a better comparison is "people who get a check from the government vs. those who don't."
Not as succinct, but more descriptive of what is actually taking place already. Those highly paid federal and state and local workers do pay taxes, but their pay packets have to come from other taxpayers who do not reap the same generous rewards.
Who are the servants, and who are the served?

Your comment just made me think of another one.
Government workers (all levels) vs privately and self-employed.
The state of OR has more gov employees than private/self. Pretty nauseating.
