All states are Red States.
It’s these damn cities that are the problem.

Its an up hill battle, but go Michigan. One if the challenges will be the loss of people. Republicans, being go getters, have often left the state to seek opportunity. Democrats being lazy pieces of garbage tend to stay so they can suck more from the state.

I reject that Conservative states are colored/termed RED.

I would ask for the whole place to be surveyed. The proper boundary should located using the thalweg, as it existed when the body of water was first put to beneficial use including navigation.
About 10,000 years ago that would be a bit west of Ann Arbor. Looks Like Detroit belongs to Canada , eh.

I reject that Conservative states are colored/termed RED. You know some sumbetch at NBC election central laughed his head off when he came up with that and everybody started using it.

Damn right. We’re f’ing lemmings to be pig-ignorant stupid enough to use the international color of Communism/Fascism thrust on us BY the leftist media in 2000. Chillingly Orwellian.

We’re also stubborn people. Those who can are sticking it out to take Michigan back. In fact its important that people everywhere do so if they can.
I’m predicting a GOP pick up in the 1st district and a return to GOP hands in the 7th district. The governor’s mansion is another one we have a good chance of picking up.
Jenk is correct about Jason Allen and the liberal republicans who hold the state senate. We often give the democrats the blame but the GOP deserves credit as well. In fact, I think the in state races are even more important than the national races because a good state legislature can stand against the federal government.

Very true, however, the First District of Michigan is only small towns, not one town larger than 20,000 people.

Don’t forget that redistricting for CongressCritters is just over the state legislative agenda horizon.

Democrats did that on purpose...they use to be the red states and then figured it was too communistic to be called red...so the media switched colors a couple of years ago..
To: jenk
time to redistrict and then, after the Republicans take the house and senate here in MI......Gerrymander.
