Lee Bollinger sounds like he'd fit right in as Obama's media thug czar.

Is this the same guy who is President of Columbia University? And the same guy who inivited Ahmadinejad to speak at Columbia? And the same guy who might be one of two people on this planet who might have access to the usurper’s college records?

"He envisions the future of American journalism as a mixed system, part public, part private."Did he also suggest the name "Truth" for his vision?
It worked for his ideological predecessors in the USSR.

"And the same guy who might be one of two people on this planet who might have access to the usurpers college records?"That's IF Obama ever actually attended Columbia.
I'm not sure his attendance there isn't a complete fabrication...which this tool would have to be a party to.

That big IF was the reason for all the “might”s in my post. IF he was enrolled with a camel load of Saudi money, I’m mighty certain he didn’t attend class.

ROFLMAO! Has he ever “envisioned” the 1st amendment of the Constitution?

He envisions the future of American journalism as a mixed system, part public, part private. Otherwise, worries Bollinger, Americans might not get the news they need. Americans are getting the news they WANT. They just don't want the "news" that is being offered by today's outlets.

Absent a pipeline of government money, he fears the Fourth Estate cannot continue to perform its fabled function as a watchdog, prowling the globe and speaking truth to power. Is THAT what they're doing with Obama, acting as watchdog and speaking truth to power?

The Leftist Media cannot survive as it is anti-family, ant-business, anti-American and a Bolshevik message that the Government is God. (See NPR)

The First Amendment guarantees to the people the right of a free press -- it does not guarantee the right of the New York Times or NBC to exist in perpetuity.

If a conservative were to take Mr. Bollinger aside and call him a “Communist”, he would feign offense. If a liberal were to do the same, he would thank him for noticing.
