Your best bet would be Gulf Shores itself. I would go online to Meyer Realty and check what they’ve got available - there are some great deals down here right now. If you stay in Gulf Shores itself, you’d be able to just about walk everywhere - beach, restaurants, bars and if you had to get out your car (say to go to Tanger Outlet Center) you can get anywhere else in a matter of minutes. The beaches are pretty clean, the folks are friendly as hell, the weather’s great, the foods great! Hope that’s where you come and hope you enjoy it! Make sure you at least drive over to the Florida St Line (about 15 minutes from Gulf Shores) and visit FloraBama - it’s legendary!!! In fact, “Bama Breeze” video by Jimmy Buffett was filmed at the FloraBama and it’s mentioned in various John Grisham books. Like I said, a legend!
