Just think of all the follow-up “tree watering” classes they can run when it’s realized that there’s no irrigation suplied to these trees and they all wither and die.

Its a bargain at $196 per tree...it is 10,000 times cheaper than a green job

Great. Plant a bunch of trees for which the county does not have water. Put a greater burden on the water rights acquired by Clark, Co. and Las Vegas by purchasing farms north of LasVegas. FWIW, the farms are operated at a huge deficit by bureaucrats at the expense of the Clark County residents. Right, plant, baby, plant.

Ah, feel-good tree planting. When I was an undergrad in horticulture at Va Tech, I helped the extension service conduct a planting seminar for some public employees, in Roanoke, VA as I recall. My buddy from NJ and me.

Anyway, the most urgent question was what was the other name for the digging tool we were using. This was circa 1976 and you couldn’t call a shovel a spade by that time. It was interesting...

And according to a gushing story on local TV tonight, two million is going to seven computer centers in the “poorest” neighborhoods in Philadelphia, provided by “President Obama” - the buying of votes for ‘rats with taxpayer money in 2010 and 2012 proceeds according to plan......
