Well, the problem is, they might just do the job and do it poorly with little enthusiasm. They could lose the case and claim it wasn’t their fault. You’d be hard pressed to prove it. We don’t want them anywhere near the case.

I ask because Missouri has a very similar law on the books as SB1070. How do you sue AZ and not MO?

Probably because Missouri, like California, doesn't enforce its anti-illegal-immigration laws.

Yes, California, of all places, has had a very similar set of laws on its books for many years. They just happen to ignore them.
