It has been four years already? Time flies.
Is that the same Rick Sanchez who killed a man while drinking and driving?
Socialism is all about tearing down the strong!
I think it is. I believe it was a hit and run as well. How much time did he do for that?
One would have to be pretty high on the sociopathic scale to not feel a shread of empathy for Abramnoff, and one would have to be pretty low on the maturity & sanity index to not have respect for an ex-con doing hard honest work.
CNN is filled with losers.
Gosh, I don't think he got any time for that. They probably didn't have room with real criminals like Jack Abramoff taking up so much space.
Rick Sanchez, making d-bags all over the world feel better about themselves, just by comparison.
I loath Sanchez, so I’m glad they gave the prime time slot to Client Number Nine. They are programming geniuses.
And Abramoff is certainly strong. ...physically too. Held the bench press record at my high school 30 years ago. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if that record was still intact.
CNN, the network that has just hired Spitzer. Some class.
I always remember that line from Kung Fu, “All work is honorable”.
He meant it, too!
Unfortunately, liberals always seem to escape blame for their actions.
Whatever Bitch Sanchez. No one died as a result of Jack’s actions, unlike your squalid life.
So many "newsreaders" love to do this kind of "Aren't we all really happy that this badguy is getting what's coming to him, folks?" thing with the audience, setting themselves up as a proxy for what the Correct Response is to a situation.
It doesn't matter whether the person who's the subject deserves to be ribbed or not. What matters to me is the "newscaster" has laid down what OF COURSE should be the proper reaction to the subject of a news report.
It's one of the reasons I so loathe television (thoough I don't give a damn if everyone else likes it or watches it). It's as if because he sits in front of a camera, this guy Sanchez knows the proper response to all subjects.
Humans are more complex than that. People have many different, personal responses, even a million different shades of approval/disapproval for a story such as this.
I have a feeling he wouldn't be this way if the subject of the story was a non-white who'd murdered someone--that would be more like, "He's paid his debt to society, and now he's found a humble job."
honest living, unlike rick sanchez
Ah yes, Rick Sanchez. The geographical genius who tried to find Hawaii on a map and pointed to the Galapagos Islands.
Also, being a noted mathematician, he asked a meteorologist “...Nine meters in English is?”
Why the hell should someone feel sympathy for Abramnoff. That’s just stupid.
