Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.

Yes, a nation of fools elected Obama. How did it happen that we now have so many fools in the nation?

Yuri Besmenov warned us in the 1980s. Our nation is not utterly "demoralized". Next step: Destabilization.

Yet...Conservatives consistently fail to have a rational plan to RE-moralize the nation!

Hint: Any RE-moralization plan better include shutting down the government K-12 schools and getting the nation's kids into private conservative schools that will weave Judeo Christian principles and our nation's founding principles into the very fabric of their entire school day.

Is it too late to save the country? I’m afraid so. We’ll have to go through great turmoil before things can get back on track.

>>Ghandi succeeded because he had civilized opponents.

>>We have no such luxury.

It is amazing how many bring him up who do not in the least bit understand how unique that situation was in history.

Exactly!

“Passive resistance” does not work with Communists.

Today, our young people have no idea how evil communism is.

They won’t even know when they get a good taste of it. Frog in the beaker....

It is this subversion which damns the liberal elites, for they have led entire generations astray, away from the bright wellsprings of freedom and into the dark corners of servitude to masters they cannot even recognize.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Yuri Besmenov called it “demoralization”. We are not ripe for the next stage: Destabilization.

Yet...Conservatives consistently fail to have any rational plan for RE-moralization of our nation's youth.

"If those in power who fear the "Christian, Homeschool, Fundamentalist Militia" had any sense, they'd stop doing what they're doing. They're going to back a vast number of people into a corner, and when they do, this nation is is going to polarize and shift in a deadly and dreadful way. Currently, our national power brokers are giving absolutely ZERO heed to their constituency. This makes them dangerous indeed. It's anybody's guess what they will try next, and that very thing (whatever it is) could very well be what pushes that Thyristor to suddenly switch. It could be that they (for example) decide to mess with people's 401ks in order to reduce the national debt. But in truth, it could be any number of things and nobody can even guess at this point."

Well said.
What is going on with the powers brokers you mention, IMHO, is a mentality of never having to suffer the consequences of actions taken or decisions made--this can either be by grace of being shielded (Obama), or calculated planning and dealing in the shadows (Ted Kennedy). This mentality breeds a fatal arrogance and blind spot, ala Versailles and Louis XVI.
Now, deep down in the reptilian portion of the brain, the scum you mention know that what they're doing is making some pretty thin ice--case in point the action of CNN cutting to commercial quickly during Rand Paul's speech (we're coming for you).
I think the biggest mistake people like this Newsweak author make is assuming that the anger is going to be misdirected. I would posit that when it manifests, it will be cold, directed, and unrelenting.

Geesh...And sticks and stones...

You do know the misuse of public library computers (in your case) is frowned upon...

Your carbon footprint is about the size of the tailgate on my truck...You might want to up the meds...Take a nap, pull the plug...

If anyone is getting bored, it can’t be you, but it is everyone else watching you digging that hole you’re in deeper and deeper...

Go ahead, by all means attempt to get the last word in...

There is probably no depth to your psychosis...Nor the hole yer in...
