I agree, most don’t/won’t vote for us anyway. Still, this is crazy timing to allow Obama to change the subject from his failure at dealing with the economy/jobs/spending/taxes to immigration. It is a lose-lose situation for us. We’ve waited this long, can’t we wait until after November 2010 to allow this issue to blow up? We have him on the ropes and Obama wants nothing more than to put this issue on the frontburner now.

Obama and company were already poised to bring up amnesty- which would turn the focus to ILLEGAL immigration. Reid spoke at a rally in support of amnesty on the very same day as Rob Krentz’s service. Dims have discussed whether the next thing they crammed down our throat would be amnesty or global climate legislation and had pretty much decided on amnesty.

Illegal immigration has everything to do with the economy/jobs/sprending/taxes. It just needs to be framed that way so all can understand that close relationship.

Obama might think he wants illegal immigration/amnesty on the front burner but I think he will be sorry.

I don’t know. I hope you are right. I think it may backfire on us. We already had him and the dems in the corner.

Rep. Gutierrez brought forward a “comprehensive reform bill that would create a path to citizenship for millions of immigrants who are now residing in the United States illegally” on December 15, 2009. Several House members have already signed on as co-sponsers.

The governor of Arizona has asked the federal government to send National Guard to the Arizona border numerous times- and the Obama bunch has not ever bothered to reply- not even to deny her request. The cartel war in Mexico is spilling over the border and the Obama Administration is in total denial- First Lady Michelle even made a public announcement that “it is safe for Americans to travel to Mexico” in spite of State Department warnings to the contrary.

The Obama administration has not bothered to comment on the Rob Krentz murder, the cartel war spilling over to Ft Hancock, TX or numerous murders, kidnappings, home invasions, and other crimes committed in the U.S. that are directly tied to the cartel war in Mexico and our unsecure border.

I don’t think Arizona or those that support securing the border and enforcing laws against illegal immigration and trafficing are the ones that chose the timing of a confrontation with Obama on the issue of ILLEGAL immigration. He campaigned promising comprehensive immigration reform ~AMNESTY~ as one of his priorities.

Do you think those of us that have valid concerns about the border issues should just sit down and shut up because the time is not right to speak out or pass laws like Arizona did? You do realize AMNESTY would be crammed down our throats for sure if we were to stand down on this issue?

Good timing or not, this is not a political battle we picked; but definately is one we must fight.
