She also defeated both a former Governor and a popular incumbent Governor.

It doesn't matter if Alaska's population was 100.
She was elected by the people to be chief executive of their state.
That in itself is a huge accomplishment for someone who was not part of a political machine, dynasty, or career.
So you would rate the respective Governorships of Alaska, New York, Texas, California and Florida as being equal, since all of those office holders were elected by the people?
Big fish, little pond, there is no denying that. And it isn't criticism, it is simply stating fact.
By that logic, the incoming new President of Centre College in Danville Kentucky (approximate student body of 1200) is on a par with the President of the University of Notre Dame with nearly 10x the number of students.
Sorry Triple-E, that math doesn't work.

(0bama is doing to America what Roman Polanski did to his victim, but without lube.)

Which is an admirable task, however: considering that she accomplished that with a voter base of only 183,259 (votes actually cast) does not necessarily mean that Sarah Palin is automatically Jack the Giant Killer.
Consider the classic 'bum of the month club' which applies to the sport of boxing, once a boxer wins the Championship, it sometimes develops that their agent steers them to easy wins over unknown contenders, which keeps their name in the headlines, establishes a record of wins/knockouts for the Champ, but that cannot be considered the same as going out and taking on someone with the skills of an Ali, Holmes, Foreman, Holyfield, Tyson, etc.
I'm not saying that Sarah isn't capable of knocking out someone like 'Kid' 0bama, far from it. But the fact of the matter is, her resume', be it viewed in the perspective of boxing or any other analogy, is a little thin. There is no way to pump that up into anything more than it is.
