If the House passes the Senate bill, it goes to the president. Reconciliation is a smokescreen!

Ok then I am understanding this now...my concern is the Stupack 12 have said they will vote for the bill if the language is changed...so it would have to go back to the Senate...we'd be right where we were in Dec 24th!
But if they go to reconciliation and the republicans try and tie it up til nov. Biden can overrule that process saying they are obstructing the passage without adequate reason or purpose. Call a vote and off to Bo for signing..right?
Seems like both sides are backed into a corner on this...and the pressure is on whoever breaks first...likely whoever gets the biggest bribe...if one folds the rest will soon follow I'm afraid.

Ok then I am understanding this now...my concern is the Stupack 12 have said they will vote for the bill if the language is changed...This is probably the way the 'rats would have to go, but I wonder how much the Stupak crew could really trust the Senate - full of pro-abortionists - to follow through on a promise to change the language once they have an approved bill in hand just waiting to be signed - might not be such an easy sell once Stupak and friends really get to thinking about it - and I'm not sure Biden can make a global ruling that all Republican objections are invalid - he may have to go one by one which will take up lots of time and expose him to looking like he is playing pure politics of he rules against the 'pubs automatically every time - but I share your fear that once one or two of the Stupak group cave, the whole bunch is likely to collapse - not a very happy thought......

If the rats use “reconciliation” to pass Mengelecare, the Republicans can use “reconciliation” to repeal it.
