We already got it. You're a big-time "seaman". You don't have to keep making the point that non-big-time "seamen" are not as qualified to judge oceany things as you are because you're a big-time "seaman".

My point is making assumptions without experience makes an ass out of the assumer. You see some white water behind a racing vessel, therefore the vessel is in motion. But the wake of the larger vessel transfers, that is, rolls behind smaller craft nearby. And from the video shot of the thug ship, you can see it clearly turn hard starboard! It’s amazing thinking folks can see it any other way.

Watching tugs work our ships ferrying passengers etc. you come to know the roll of the ocean.
