Although I’d love to see this Nazi pig tossed out on his butt, I don’t see it ever happening.

Agree 100%. Pataki should do the patriotic thing and challenge him.

Those that say he’s doing a good job should be asked ‘what has he done for NY’. I bet they couldn’t answer!
To: Shellybenoit
The only problem with all this is that the NYS GOP is so ineffective, cowering within their own sewer of incompetence, that it can't even raise a credible candidate to challenge Schmuckie's easily beatable sock-puppet, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, much less the Schmuckster himself ...
But I agree ... Schmuckie Schumer needs a good smackdown or two, the man is a legend in his own mind and needs to be taken down a notch or two with a decent challenge. He'll win of course, but maybe a bit bloodied for once

We have two Senators and a Governor up for re-election this year and no one forcefully stepping forward to say, yeah, I'm running.
Peter King has taken himself out of the race because he believes that the GOP will take the House this year and that will give him some seniority.
I've heard names tossed around by other people -- Pataki, Lazio -- but I haven't heard much of or from them.

Pataki, Lazio I saw Lazio on TV (Cavuto on Fox News I think). He's definitely running against Gillibrand.
We need Pataki or Kudlow to take on Schumer.

Lazio is taking on Paterson for Governor.
http://lazio.com/
Ford will take on Gillibrand in a primary; this is necessary to give Cuomo cover (against the race card which Dumocrats LOVE to play) to go after Paterson in a primary. It could be a very interesting year in NY politics. Schumer’s vaunted war chest could take a serious hit if he has to finance 5 campaigns (1 for him, 2 for Gillibrand and 2 for Paterson).
