I'm also starting to hear her mentioned on television, which is a huge obstacle for candidates starting from scratch. Previously, I only heard about her on FR and through some Tea Party contacts.
With Hutchison sitting at 33% with a bullet down, it's possible (not probable) that Medina could pass her. If that happens and she ends up in the runoff with Perry, it's a whole new ball game.
He might be good for something. The Mom and I could get some tips on good hair care products from him.

They do not yet state the venue, which troubles me.
Perry has my vote. I like Medina, but she can’t really win. I would like to see her try again in a few years. Perry has stood strong for states rights, and has refused federal money that had big strings attached. I’s not as conservative as I’d like, but he’ll do the right thing the majority of the time. He knows how to speak to the Federal Government.
Debra Medina is also running for the GOP nod, she is an outsider fighting against the status qua currupt GOP in Texas. She is a home school mom, and a small business owner, concerned citizen, strong constitutionalists. Someone that you would think Palin would be 100% for. Not the good ol’ boy Perry.

When did Debra Medina enter the race?
Sarah Palin endorsed Rick Perry’s re-election bid early last summer.
According to Wiki, she started talking about it in 2008.
I guess she officially announced in Sept. 12 2009 though, just looked it up.
Thank you for doing the research.
*SIGH* I’ll try to remember to check Sarah’s FaceBook when I have more time later tonight, but I recall that Rick Perry got her endorsement in July or August, and maybe earlier.
You’re right, however, from what little I’ve read, Debra Medina sounds like a perfect candidate for Sarah to endorse.
