On an everyday basis, I am one of the most well armed people I know. On a moments notice I can gun up to an even higher state. That being said, there is no way in hell I would walk around that place making a video. Maybe there was a couple of well armed ‘assistants’ out of camera view, but damn!

I was born and brought up in Detroit when it was a beautiful city. Left when I married and buying a house in Detroit was more expensive than buying a new house in the suburbs....The death of the city's that no one will admit is forced busing of 5 year olds an hour from their home to let a black and white child sit in the same classroom...

Middle class blacks were insulted that the government said their children could only learn if they sat next to a white kid, and didn't like their children on a bus 1 hour in the morning and another hour to get home...both races that could, got the hell out....It took about 15 years to be completed by the late 60's and early 70's the city was on fire. It never recovered....then the black racist Coleman Young was voted mayor for about 15-20 years....went after the police department and crime went sky high and never has come down....

$100 on eBay , Highland Park , no bidders ,, that is for the house , not a bid on the deposit http://cgi.ebay.com/Highland-Park-MI-Investment-Property_W0QQitemZ110472855371

$597.50 on eBay , Actually a nice house , clean and livable ,, bid is for the house , not the down payment http://cgi.ebay.com/Beautiful-little-yellow-house-in-Detroit-Must-see_W0QQitemZ220529311349

If I was homeless I'd beg a few hundred dollars , buy a house and live off the handouts ...

I was in Detroit for the whole weekend. I even went gambling and was only one of a handful of white people. I drove around downtown, just a ghost town, no traffic and just a few people eating at a coney island. I didn’t have any trouble at all.

none have the Hiroshima-after-the-blast feel that Motown does.

I was lost in Philly once.. I thought I had a time-shifted to 1980 Beirut .

With decent houses selling for (at most) a few thousand dollars who would pay the property tax? Just let it build until the property is auctioned out from under you in 5-7 years.
