I think they BOTH right.
Glenn is correct that both parties are corrupt, and aside from nuance, it is difficult to distinguish one from the other. I attribute alot of the this to the media and the way they essentially promote and chose our candidates for us and elevate the RINOS’s to leadership status.
However, Rush is also correct in that a 3rd party candidate will lead to Democrat victory (especially in National Races). I also believe that a great mind such as Rushs’, has to know the Glenn is right in many ways but it would do no good to convulute his message by constantly disclaiming his support of Republicans by first bashing them. I think he is trying to keep it simple by keeping the eye on the ball so-to-speak.
We are in a tough spot but I think the key is for strong conservative candidates to run as Republicans, run against incumbents and take back the party.
Maybe I’m wrong but I can’t imagine that the general population would ever vote for a party they have never heard of. If there is one thing that I have seen over and over again, the average person goes with what they are comfortable and familiar (at least as perceived) with, hence the perpetual status quo. It is an unfortunate reality.
