The criticisms I state are meant for informative purposes.

Those are not valid criticisms. It's subjective opinion fabricated by establishment media.

We're already informed about Palin's background and her reasons for resigning. So go edumacate someone else.

Thank you for parotting the (utterly stupid and Freeper shredded) Party Line.

I know it may be difficult to comprehend but there actually are some negative issues surrounding Palin. Pointing them out does not make someone anti Palin, just a living in reality

Personally, I'd pull the switch for her in a heartbeat, but both the Dem and GOP political machines and MSM have marginalised her to the point where it will be very difficult for her to get more than the conservative base to vote for her. You can't win a run for the POTUS with under 40 % of the vote.

Personally, conservatives need to be careful where they put their hopes and dreams.

One last point. In modern political history, no losing POTUS ticket VP running mate has ever won the next POTUS run. Sarah Palin would be the first. Hopefully it will be the many of firsts for her.

You are projecting on an enemy that is not there.

I'm making up the facts that leftist bloggers on orders from Obama operatives tried to box Sarah in and ruin her politically and financially?

STFU you are an offensive ,assumptive liar at this point.

C'mon champ. Don't get mad, get even! Refute what I said!

Quit does not equal leader.

According to who? People who will never support her anyway?

Unless you are brainwashed.

Me and millions of others. That's a lot of zombies for you right there.

Ban me ace...

Nah, I'd rather let you hang yourself believing the left's propaganda.

Flame me for speaking reality, but she quit. It upset me.

I watched her "quitting" speech and seeing the twinkle, spark and fire in her eyes I knew that "quitting" was the farthest thing from her mind. It was a brilliant and gutsy move on her part. Just look at the fruits of that action that are appearing daily right before your eyes. None of them would have been possible with her "quitting". Palin doesn't quit. You need to think outside the box.

She didn’t quit. She’s just recalibrating and reloading.

Libs can’t seem to understand the concept that public office is not a lifetime career. She accomplished many of her goals and it was not cost effective to the state or to her to defend a lame duck Governor against the spate of silly legal challenges.

They didn’t get rid of her. They just pissed her off. Stay tuned...

Her father said something to the point, "She's not retreating...she's reloading."

The biggest problem IMO is she quit. Done deal. No go after that. I like her and will vote for her but it did happen.

Mmmm.. lets look at what happened in the blinding light of 20/20 hindsight. Sarah abandoned an indefensible position. It was one of her own creation at some level because she pushed and help pass the very ethics laws that were used to attempt to destroy her with a death of 1,000 cuts.

But, lets say they didn't do this and Sarah hung on for the duration. Who would have given us "Death Panels", NY23, "Going Rogue?", Sarah pointed to Glen Beck and said watch something interesting and his viewers doubled just as he was hitting his stride about the bizarre group occupying the White House and Van Jones resigned shortly there after.

Sarah didn't quit the fight. She explained that she handed her postion to someone who could defend it more effectively, Sean Parnell. And this gives him incumbency to roll into the next term to keep her plan and vision alive in Alaska.

Then, she found a more defensible position, oddly citizen posting on Facebook, and launched a withering fusillade into her real enemies that still has them reeling. She wrote a book explaining what why and how, which you obviously have not read, and now is campaigning to win the 2010 election cycle for conservatives and and common sense conservative values.

This whole set of events would have been impossible if she had not resigned as Governor and I am sure that the folks who pushed her now really really really really regret it.

Hers was an extraordinary circumstance. If you cannot comprehend that so be it.
Her resigning was an act of utter unselfishness and concern for the welfare of a state she loves.

There's a stigma attached to quitting, yes. Must be why she's showing up at all these book signings and only a handful of people await her.

Don't see it as hate. See it as an intervention. You were saying something that was a repeat of MSM and Elite Republican talking points to denigrate Sarah and folks around here called you on it.

You kept attempting to defend an indefensible position and the fire came in.

Folks around here are getting familiar with Alinsky tactics and how vulnerable single identifiable leaders are to these attacks. So when someone is repeating one of the memes without a really well reasoned supporting argument, they are in for rough treatment.

This is a forum aimed at finding truth, so hard truths can be posted here. But they better be well supported because folks will otherwise hand you your tail.

Its a good process and keeps us all honest and quoting references to support our positions.

I will vote for her. I am not in such a secluded sphere of influence where I can ignore it. Are you?
