Now the CHINESE are starting to get perturbed over it. Japanese internet news reports tonight, our time, that one Chinese blogger (日当午)is prominently carrying a photo of the Obama bow to the Emperor, and deeply questioning the need for such a bow in the first place. He says that it was unordinary in diplomatic protocol procedures.
He said, in the case of meeting the Pope, it is understandable in diplomatic protocol, but in the case of meeting the Emperor, it was NOT correct, "and why was it that Obama initiated such a deep, 90degree bow?"

When Obooboo gets to China, he will have to kowtow. He is probably practicing right now.
Kowtow:
Chinese ritual also spelled kotow, Chinese (Pinyin) keitou or (Wade-Giles romanization) ko-tou
in traditional China, the act of supplication made by an inferior to his superior by kneeling and knocking his head to the floor. This prostration ceremony was most commonly used in religious worship, by commoners who came to make a request of the local district magistrate, and by officials and representatives of foreign powers who came into the presence of the emperor. By the Ming period (13681644), the ritual, especially as made to the shrine of Confucius by the emperor and to the emperor by his officials and foreign envoys, involved three kneelings and nine prostrations.
