Just look at the polls, the elections, etc.

I look at the millions who have attended tea party rallies across the country. The large numbers at town hall meetings who oppose socialism. Those are real numbers, not polls that can be engineered to get the desired results.

The government schools, the bus ministry of the state church of collectivist humanism, has done its job well.

The people are the government!!!!! We need to stand up long and loud enough for Congress critters to understand we have had enough and won't take it anymore!!!

The electorate is too stupid to know what is happening to them and too lazy to do the research to figure it out.

Mass civil disobedience, aka armed revolt, is just what Obama dreams of. It would allow him to declare martial law, round up the dissenters into camps, and complete his fascist takeover of our government.

No, what we need is a more Galtian revolt. We need to quietly withdraw from all dependence on government, corporations, large banks, and every other kind of institution that is part of the government/corporate/media complex. Conduct business underground, stop paying taxes and interest, don't use credit cards, don't invest in Wall Street. Freeze them out. I realize this is not the kind of thing most people will do right now, but as things get worse, which is inevitable, more and more people will be forced to look for alternatives. If there's anything the internet has taught us, it's that decentralization is the trend. Even the internet itself, with its centralized hubs and backbone, can be decentralized completely. It will happen. We might as well start now.
