Palin PING!
Anyone on or off the Palin ping, write me.
Let’s not get too cultlike, people.
Let’s like her for the right reasons and ease off on the worship. That sort of thing is for the other side.
Even without the pictures you gave a terrific description. Just reading about her made me smile. Thanks!
PS. I chose to follow the rules and placed my cell phone in the car before the event started. Wisconsin Right to Life had asked us not to bring our cell phones or any photographic or video recording devices into the event. I felt it would be disrespectful to these guys to bring in my cellphone so I could Twitter and blog during the event. Sorry.
So alas probably no records... too bad. Maybe like CLSA there will be some official photos.
“Most importantly, her smile was back bigger and brighter than any have seen in a while. To me, the most striking part of her appearance was her eyes. She has the glimmer back and her eyes were dancing around the room. She looks healthy, happy and full of life.”
Hehe. She’s Baaack!
Let's not become too patronizing.
Lets like her for the right reasons and ease off on the worship. That sort of thing is for the other side.
Where was she "worshipped"? The author gave a description of her at the event, since no cameras were allowed... and I am happy that she is showing her strength, energy and won't let herself be worn down by the democrat-media complex.
That's "worshipping"? Please.
Ask any Obama nut what they know about the Constitution and they will answer that it allowed slavery, so it does not matter. We know what we’re talking about.
We back this woman because she is doing the right things and understands our constitutional form of government.
George Washington may have brought out cult-like worship as well. As long as it is for a good cause, let it be.
thank you so much for the post!
have she told ppl to get in ppl’s face and punch twice as hard?
Sounded like a fantastic speech....
yep. Good advice.
It’s Idolatry plain and simple.
God ruins false idols. I’ve seen it so many times in life.
I really think Sarah Palin has created a mob of idolaters in that conference.
All Sarah talked about was ... eek ... God:
“In God We Trust”
Beginning from the unborn, The Sanctity of Life, up to Respect to the Lives of the Elderly.
She strongly emphasized John Paul II.
Gosh, this woman is an idolater. An Idolater for the Glory of One True God, Creator of Heaven and Earth.
People left the conference with one Idol in their hearts:
God.
Fighting for Conservative Principles as Children of God.
I'm stopping now because this is already too much. My apologies to the author for tainting the words, but hopefully my point is made. I agree with sinanju. It's very easy to like Gov. Palin but that doesn't mean we should gush about her hair, wardrobe and beauty. What she said was far more important than how she looked. After all, I doubt there are any here who don't know what she looks like.
Being too infatuated about quoting John 16:13
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative ”
doesn’t sound so idolatrous on the part of the crowd, don’t you think?
I hope that there will be a video forthcoming soon, even though cell phones and cameras were barred at the event. Sounds like she was on fire (yet again)!
