Too complex.
You are right, GI Joe Fan. O’Reilly is better than many, but he often does not go as far as he should. Hasan is definitely a Muslim terrorist.
Thanks for the tip on the Peters video. It is outstanding, and now posted here.

If he is a muslim terrorist, he is a crazy person, but not vice versa.
Well said.
Yes, but unfortunately, many of them manage to execute their evil objectives much more effectively than Hasan did, despite much less education. The 13 people murdered at Ft. Hood is horrible, but this isn’t exactly another 9/11, and by Middle East terrorism standards, it barely registers as a blip.
I’m glad Hasan’s mental condition was such that he wasn’t able to harness the full power of his intellect and scientific training. It makes me shudder to think how easily he could have boarded a packed military transport plane with enough explosives in his duffel bag to take it down, or how easily he could have scattered anthrax spores throughout nearly all of Walter Reed in just one shift. I really don’t think he had any accomplices though (which he would have needed to obtain anthrax in a sericeable form) — he was probably a loner, who wanted to be part of the big al Qaeda conspiracy, but either didn’t know how to connect with it, or had been passed over due to mental instability.
Sure is not Amish or Quaker in nature.... I will take Islamic terrorist for $100.. Who is Hasan?
This guy is not the 'rocket scientist' that he's made out to be. He was promoted & tolerated because he was a PC affirmative action miniority that noone dares to talk about.
He got bad reviews at Walter Reed & was shipped to Fort Hood to get him out of there.
Until the army - our government & all the rest of us keep pretending this isn't going on - more innocents are going to die.
Obama says not to rush to judgement!!!! It's plain as the nose on your face Bozo, It was an Islamic Terrorist Attack - so quite trying to give us a snow job!
He got bad performance reviews, but there’s no indication that he hadn’t done well academically — it sounded like the problems were more along the lines of behavioral stuff, not intelligence-related. He did well at Virginia Tech in a very challenging major, and had to pass the same national licensing exams as any other medical doctor. I’m not saying he’s an Einstein, but he almost certainly has both a way above average IQ and a way above average grasp of biology/chemistry. He has the sort of professional expertise that Al Qaeda usually puts to use “back at the ranch”, designing explosives, training others, etc. It’s generally the uneducated followers who are encouraged to go blow themselves up and take a dozen or so “infidels” with them, because they’re not useful for anything bigger.
I don’t think Hasan had any direct connection to larger, organized Muslim terrorist organizations. Much as we mourn the 13-14? lost soldiers, from an Al Qaeda point of view, this guy is just a stupid loose cannon. If he’d been taking directions from them, and tapping into their organizational resources, he wouldn’t have done this. Most likely they’d have wanted him to head on over to Afghanistan and help carry out some really major attack on a US facility, that required an inside operative. This guy was scaredy-cat who was afraid to go to a combat zone, not an Al Qaeda operative.
Are Muslim terrorists sane?
