Sarah is really good at saluting her enemies in the most convincing way, even though they don’t deserve it. WAAAAAY back during the campaign, she saluted Hillary for breaking the glass ceiling, now she salutes Ms. Scozzafava for behaving selflessly, which of course she DIDN’T DO, but the compliment is so nice, she might just accept it, and try to get her supporters to go to Hoffman.

Two really good things have come out of all of this. We smoked Scuzzy out and now, beyond even an unreasonable doubt, know that she would have totally betrayed the voters and the Republican party once she got to DC. We also know the pubbie establishment types, ineptly led by the abysmally compromised Newt, simply lacked the judgment and common sense, as so many also did in looking at Obama, to read her background and reach the only logical conclusions from it.

Party loyalty only goes one way for the R’s. The liberals are pissed they couldn’t force a liberal R into a conservative district and this is how they usually react.

It’s how they behave here in CO. Happened twice in 2006 here with minor variations on the NY23 pattern and twice in 2004. In both cases, the conservative managed to win despite being Scozzafava’ed.
