You are so right on. Here in Pennsylvania, the GOP primary is utterly useless since the candidates have already been decided upon way before the primary. The state GOP committee endorses their picks months before the primary, and the rest just quit.
In any national statewide election (president or senator), the big cities and union strongholds simply wait until last to report their vote results so that they can coordinate just how much to report in order to achieve the desired results. There is no effort to curb vote fraud or voter abuse (unless, of course, you’re one of the “special” constituencies).
It’s not just the Democrats who are corrupt, the state Republican leadership is running neck and neck with the Democrats in the corruption department. There is no ballot box way to change the system in this state, and I’m sure that it’s the same in a lot of other places. Or vote is either ignored or displaced by any number of fake votes. Voting, today, simply placates the masses into thinking they have a voice, or matter.
Those who are in charge of the party disagree. They love their RINOS.
