I can’t use Neosporin type creams so I started using honey instead.

Have you ever tried this old family renmedy? ;-)

Same remedy works for heart trouble - you know, a broken heart.

It also boosts charm level and improves singing ability.

May cause mood swings. I love you guys. Stop looking at my wife!

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Yeah, I’ve had a toothache or two that landed me in detox. Now I just go to the dentist and suck on some nitrous.

I would never, ever rub a bit of bourbon on the gums of a teething baby. Even though it works like a charm.

Alcohol is an excellent anesthetic. In rare instances in veterinary medicine, an alcohol block will inactivate a nerve for months and in some cases permanently. Alcohol near a nerve in the mouth will anesthetize the area for hours.

I keep at least one quart jar of honey on hand at all times. Honey on hot, fresh cornbread perks up breakfast very nicely.

I also use extra virgin olive oil on facial areas prone to wrinkling. Before bedtime, pat on a little olive oil then blot off the excess. I’ve been told I look younger than my 53 years. Basically, I use EVOO as a moisturizer on my arms and legs, too (blotting off excess). I guess if the scent of olive oil bothers you, add a few drops of an essential oil.

e.v. olive oil + grapeseed oil + safflower oil + peanut oil, in equal parts, plus small amount of anhydrous lanolin (can be dissolved by heating with some of the oil in a microwave until oil is warm — not hot — then mixing in with the rest of the oil). Basic recipe is 1/2 cup of each oil and 1 tablespoon of anhydrous lanolin. (I leave out the lanolin for cooking oil.) And leave out the peanut oil if you have peanut allergy, of course. I use it for sore joints, dry/chafed skin, and so on, and it seems to help smooth out the wrinkles in the bargain — I’m 60 but everyone says I don’t look a day over 59 ;>) The oils are all “good” varieties and the mix has very little scent.
